Upgrade to digital CCTV
When Basildon-based IFDS decided to upgrade their CCTV system. they chose their security maintenance provider, Minerva to undertake the work rather than the supplier of their original system.
Minerva has provided CCTV maintenance to IFDS Basildon headquarters since 2005 and with an in-depth knowledge of the incumbent system, and extensive experience of a wide range of CCTV systems, Minerva was best placed to advise on the most appropriate upgrade for the leading provider of investor record solutions.
The Minerva team advised on the necessary upgrade, installed new digital CCTV recording equipment, replaced hard disk recorders and installed a new Honeywell storage system to enable captured CCTV images to be kept safely.
New installation and upgrade of an integrated access control, CCTV and intruder alarm system
On behalf of commercial property management specialists, Workman, the Minerva team upgraded and replaced access control, CCTV and intruder alarm systems for one of the company's multi-tenanted buildings in Wimbledon, South London.
The access control system was upgraded by Minerva by adding several new doors and upgrading existing doors to incorporate new locks and magnets to ensure, once closed, they remain securely locked. The existing CCTV system was also upgraded with the addition of cameras and the replacement of hard disk recording equipment which was also relocated to the Facility Manager's office.
Design & installation of new Access Control and CCTV systems for new premises
When visual effects company Double Negative, whose film projects include ‘Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince’ and ‘Quantum of Solace’, expanded their operations to include a second facility in London’s Soho, they called in Minerva to advise on a new integrated CCTV and access control system for the new premises.
Having undertaken the successful installation of the company’s original premises, Minerva were again contracted for the company’s new facility, located just around the corner to their Soho premises. In September 2009 Minerva completed the new installation which allows the same access control cards to be used in both the company’s London buildings. Additionally, a new CCTV system covering the building’s ten entrances was also designed and installed by the Minerva team.
